Silver Jubilee

On Sunday, the 8th of September, I clocked 25. Asides being a landmark year, I have a lot of reasons to be thankful and in a better place than I was by this time last year. Most importantly, I’ve grown spiritually and in loving others.

I had a very small party with my family and close friends at home and made a cake I have wanted for the longest time – an afro cake!

Overall, it was a fun day and I had an amazing time. I thought about writing “25 things I’ve learned by 25”; however, I feel if I ever do something like that, I want it to be genuine and straight from my heart.

Just join me in thanking God for an amazing year, and I believe this journey around the sun will be a spectacular one.
